Internet marketing resources for today:
Sometimes I come across a resource that makes me wonder "How could I not already know about this?" Lynn Terry's Elite forum is one such resource. I have been on the internet developing and hosting websites since 1999 but until a couple months ago, I had never heard of Lynn Terry or of her elite forum.
Lynn has a website called Self Starter Weekly Tips where she teaches Internet Marketing. By the way, Internet Marketing is simply the marketing of products or services over the internet which covers oh let's see, just about every website out there! If you're reading this post, most likely you can benefit from learning about internet marketing.
The elite forum is what Lynn describes as a "private mastermind and brainstorming group."
Now that I am a member, I'm kicking myself. But how can you kick yourself for not doing something when you didn't know you should be doing it?
Another such forum is Mom Masterminds. Since joining, I have gotten so much great feedback and the best part is I get to help others and give feedback in return! Mom Masterminds has a forum but there's also a Learning Center with tons of content.
When you need to tweak your sales letter, figure out how to do something in WordPress, or get feedback on that awesome idea you have for a new business, pop over to one of the forums. Not only do you have access to professionals like Lynn and Kelly, there are countless others ready to help you out!
Both groups do weekly calls and members are invited to ask for feedback.
What I can tell you is this. For the price these ladies charge, it's a STEAL! The free resources and special offers you can take advantage of will easily pay for your membership. The things you can learn how to do ... wow.
These are monthly memberships so sign up and give them a try. If you visit, participate and glean as much information as you can, I can't imagine how Elite membership and Mom Masterminds membership wouldn't be pretty much free by the time you factor in what you are getting!
Oh and I almost forgot. Both include a members only affiliate program so you can refer others and earn back your membership fee.
So now, YOU can't say you didn't know!

This post is a good reminder for me to check in with Lynn Terry more often. She’s so informatiive and great to listen to. Full of confidence.
What can I say about Mom Masterminds? I still have a long way to go, but wouldn’t be anywhere without them. This forum is full of wise women, non judgemental, but straightforward and to the point (and fun!) I’m so glad I found MM at the very beginning of my WAHM journey only last August.
It’s great having you there and thanks for the advice I have received. Looking forward to continuing the connection.
I have to give a shout out about Mom Masterminds too. Mom Masterminds is an awesome group to join. I would not be where I am with my business. As of this month I’ve been a member for a year. It’s the best thing I ever did for me or my business.
I debated for months about joining Mom Masterminds. Once I finally did, I also kicked myself for not doing so earlier. The support and resources are phenomenal! I have learned so much in the past 2 years as a member – I can’t imagine life without it now!

I found Mom Masterminds about a month after I decided to go online for business reasons. I had been online for fun since the mid 1990′s (remember Compuserve?) but hadn’t realized the opportunity for taking my writing and marketing business online until I found Kelly McCausey’s WAHM Talk Radio podcast and then was referred by her to the Mom Mastermind forum. It changed my life.
My learning curve was way shorter than it would have been without the mentorship and learning resources offered by Mom Masterminds. That was 3 years ago and it is still the place I return a few times a week for support, for answers to questions and to feel a sense of belonging to a strong vital WAHM community.
Oh yes and some of my favorite clients continue to be MM members
I am a long time member of both of the mastermind groups you mention and I absolutely love both of them. They each bring something different to the table which I think is great. Glad to hear you enjoy being a member of both!
I have been a member of Lynn Terry’s Elite forum for about a year and it have been the best experience I have ever had with not only my business but just life. People there are friends and will help you with what ever you need help with even if it’s just support that you need in day to day life.On the business side of it I can’t enough say enough good about because there are soooo many smart people there and they are always willing to share their knowledge. And then you get to pick the brain of the Famous Lynn Terry,well I guess you can tell I recommend Lynn Terry’s Elite Forum to everyone.

Hi Glennette. I am also a fellow MM member and the forum is my go to place for almost any business questions I have. It’s almost like a big support desk for us moms in business.
I was one of the first people to join Mom Masterminds and I actually dropped out a couple of times before coming back completely and now have been a ‘graduated’ member for a couple of years I think.
When I wanted to start a virtual assistant business MM (for short) literally launched my business. I got a bunch of clients in a short time and my business just took off from there.
Also I love Lynn Terry’s forum too! I’m a member of just Mom Masterminds and the Elite Membership – two of the best membership sites on the net in my opinion

I’ve been a member of Mom Masterminds for a looooong time but it’s just been recently that I’ve started to put what it has to offer (the mentoring from other like minded women, the learning resources, etc) to use. The learning resources alone make the monthly cost well worth it but then you add the mentoring/support that goes on from everyone there and that’s just priceless!
I just recently became a member of Lynn’s elite group! I haven’t had a chance to spend as much time there as I was hoping. But the time I have spent around there I’ve been more than pleased with the resources and the activity that goes on in the forum.
I’ve been a Mom Masterminds graduate for a while now. I’m SO glad I stuck with it through the first year, because now I can pop in at any time to refer to the resources or ask advice when I don’t know where else to turn. If you’re on the fence about joining, I highly recommend sticking with it. It’s priceless and you can apply the techniques to ANY online business.
I’m a member of Mom Masterminds too for almost a year now. It’s great to have a place where so much information is so consolidated, and I get energized by exchanging ideas and getting opinions from others in the forums. Another thing I appreciate is that it’s an active group – it doesn’t take long to hear from someone when you have a question.
I’m sure Lynn Terry’s group is very worthwhile as well, and I’ll be checking that out soon.

I especially love the camaraderie and getting together with like minded individuals.
A couple of us over there are starting offline consulting businesses and couple of other members are already in the business and providing insights. It is a place where everyone helps each other. I also wrote a glowing review of the group on my site as I am sure most members have done. It is a place to be proud to be a member of and worthy of sharing with friends because of the immense value.

I joined SSWT’s with Lynn Terry this past January after seeing her presentation at the NAMS3 conference in Atlanta. I was SO impressed with her knowledge and her ability to communicate it to us newbies.
BEST money I have spent in a long time! I get such support on the elite forum…that I just couldn’t get anywhere else. Literally has helped me to keep going rather than quitting.
Lynn Terry’s forum has been the single best investment* I’ve had in the eight years I’ve been in IM. The first day I was there I began learning, and it hasn’t stopped. The members there are great – giving and sharing and encouraging. Plus, Lynn herself actually participates; that doesn’t always happen in a forum.
I actually met Kelly McCausey at NAMS, and have been meaning to join Mom Masterminds ever since. You’ve convinced me to do it!
